Insurance and Payments
Michelle does not take insurance. All appointments are private pay and a sliding scale is available upon request.
All payments will be collected by credit card at the end of each session. Most major credit cards or HSA cards are accepted, and the information will be stored electronically using HIPAA-compliant software.
Cancellation Policy
Twenty-four hours’ notice is required to cancel a scheduled appointment. In cases of less than 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation or a missed appointment, the client will be required to pay the full cost of the missed session. This policy may be reconsidered in cases of emergency.
Telehealth Visits
Committing to therapy and fitting in time for regular counseling sessions can be challenging. Michelle offers virtual videoconferencing sessions to facilitate participation in counseling and begin treatment.
Michelle has experience conducting virtual counseling sessions using several techniques to ensure a beneficial and personal experience.
Using HIPAA-compliant software, we also offer telehealth sessions using Doxy Me for Massachusetts residents.
